Q1. When do you have availability?

We are open all year round and we don’t have fixed starting dates. You are welcome to come on any day you’d like. However, we try to let everyone start on the same day of the week: Monday. If this doesn’t fit in your travel schedule, you can also start on another day of the week. We are super flexible :)

Q2. I can not find any retreat dates on your website. When can I come?

Q3. What is the minimum amount of guests required for a retreat?

The minimum amount of guests required for a retreat is 1 person. Because we are open all year round and we don’t have fixed starting dates, we are able to accept a minimum of 1 guest per retreat.

Q4. What if I am the only guest?

Sometimes we are fully booked and sometimes we have only 1 guest, Unfortunately, this is not something we can control, but we will always inform you when other guests have booked a retreat. If you are the only guest, don’t be afraid to be alone. One of our yoga teachers is living in the Be Kind villa and the Be Kind team will be there many times throughout the day. In our experience, previous guests who ended up to be the only guest, were the ones who really needed some time alone and the personal attention from the Be Kind team.

Q5. What kind of rooms do you have?

We have 2 types of rooms. The private room has a king-size bed a private enclosed bathroom. The shared room has 2 single beds with an enclosed bathroom, accommodating 2 women in total.

Q6. How many people will be there at the retreat?

We have space for maximum 4 women. By designing intimate women-only retreats we create a space and the opportunity for powerful conversations and connections to take place.

Q7. Why do you only accept women?

We believe in the power of females. As for being women ourselves we understand the struggle with negative self-beliefs, extremely high standards and destructive perfectionism. We aim for a sisterhood community that empowers one another. By gathering together as women we tend to feel more comfortable in addressing certain subjects and talk freely about taboos.

Q8. Am I allowed to use my phone?

Be Kind is 100% offline, which means there is no Wi-Fi in the villa, neither are TV’s and you are not allowed to use your phone or other digital devices. Be Kind retreats is all about reconnecting with yourself on a deeper level, and we strongly believe this is only possible when you unplug and disconnect from all digital devices and social media first. We don’t collect your phone and it is your own responsibility and choice how serieus you want to take the digital detox. We understand that in some cases you need to be reachable, for example when you have a sick family member. In this case we would like to be informed about this before the retreat and you are only allowed to use your phone in private and not in front of other guests, so you will not disturb their digital detox.

Q9. Am I allowed to use my e-reader?

Yes, you are allowed to bring you e-reader, but we have collected many books over the years and we have plenty books for you to read in the Be Kind villa :)

Q10. I don't know if I can survive 6 days without my phone! Is a digital detox hard?

This is different for every person, but the feedback we get from every guest is that they thought it would be hard when the arrived in the Be Kind villa, but it was the most wonderful and relaxing thing they have ever done in your life. We will promise you, you will survive without your phone for a few days :)

Q11. How can I book a retreat?

If you want to book a retreat, you can fill in the form on the retreat pages or send us an email to bekindretreats@gmail.com. A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price. The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining amount should be paid 30 days before arrival.

Q12. How can I pay?

You can pay for a retreat via a bank transfer or PayPal. Please note that the transaction costs are for you. Via bank transfer, we are able to accept payments in Euro, US dollar, British pounds, Indonesian Rupiah and Australian dollar.

Q13. What is the cancellation policy?

A booking can be cancelled up to 30 days before arrival. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. If the remaining amount has already been paid, it will be transferred back to your account within 7 days.
