Be Kind provides different holistic therapies for women who struggle with anxiety, an eating disorder, depression, burn-out, grief or the all over feeling that life is not giving you enough and the constant fight of pushing yourself .

We believe in the power of holistic healing and healing from within. 

We don’t believe in ‘disorders’ and we don’t believe in putting labels on ourselves. We do believe we can create mental struggles from childhood traumas, not knowing who we are, depressing emotions, pressure from society, perfectionism or living in a fear based society. 

We don’t believe in just sessions with a psychologist once a week or treating only with medications like anti-depression pills. We do believe in finding the reason(s) why we have certain struggles and that the only way to heal is to see the ‘whole’ version of ourselves.

One-on-one coaching

The one-on-one sessions are unique and specially designed to help you in your own healing journey. In these sessions you will go much deeper into the source of the struggle you experience. With most coaches, therapists or psychologists you will only be analysing your behaviour, but with the coaches at Be Kind you will not only analyse your behaviour, but also process it on a mindful level. It makes you realise who you are in your core as a person, as a whole being, which further leads you to discover your true purpose in life, rather than focussing on the ‘labels’. 

The sessions are not just talking with your coach; they are a unique combination of talking ánd expressing yourself in other ways, such as art, movement, meditation, mirror work, journalling and energy healing. We already spend so much time in our mind, but in order to really heal ourselves, we need to step outside our rational mind, to feel and to express our true selves, only then we can connect with our authentic self. 

The background of every Be Kind coach includes studies in psychology and/or yoga, meditation and energy healing. Every coach had their own way of healing from a mental struggle and they will share their own healing story as an inspiration for you to find your own path. All Be Kind coaches will provide a safe space for you to open up and create the best path of healing for you.


Mindfulness based CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy)

CBT is a powerful tool to shift any negative thought pattern to a more healthier and positive pattern. Mindfulness based CBT is a different form of cognitive therapy that includes mindfulness practices such as meditation and breathing exercises. To combine both meditation and cognitive behavioural therapy is a powerful way to create healthy and positive thought patterns.

We believe that with only CBT it’s sometimes still hard to really believe in the new thoughts we are creating. This is why we use meditation and mindfulness, to step out of our rational mind and to really feel our new believes and start to believe in them. 

Mirror work

Founded by Louise Hay, mirror work is an effective method of learning to love yourself. We will use affirmations during the mirror work sessions at Be Kind. Affirmations are phrases you say to yourself and also include all of our inner dialogues (thoughts). Often,  we use negative self-talk in our mind. By creating positive and loving affirmations we develop a higher self-esteem and  self-confidence. You will learn how to create the affirmations and say  them to yourself into the mirror. We use the mirror, because a mirror reflects the feelings you have about yourself. As you continue daily with mirror work, talking to yourself becomes a powerful habit that makes you realise how beautiful it is to have a good relationship with yourself.


TRE (trauma release exercises)

TRE is an important tool for every woman to prevent stress and burn-outs, as well as to release traumas from the past. It’s a beautiful and powerful tool to free yourself from any heaviness. TRE provides a self-empowering resource to literally shake off stress, tension and trauma on a regular basis to help you create a better version of yourself. After this we feel mostly lighter and calmer in the mind.

Emotion regulation therapy 

We believe in the power of every emotion. Whenever we feel overwhelmed by our own emotions, take things too personal or when we overreact in a certain situation, this might be because we don’t express all emotions in a healthy way. During the one-on-one sessions, you will learn more about your emotions, how to create healthy believes about your emotions and you will discover new practical tools to release every emotion. 


Inner child work

We all have an inner child inside, but we do not all connect with this little girl. Our inner child is our younger self, when we were about 5 years old. This little girl is always there, but when we grow older we don’t pay attention to her anymore and we try to push her traumas, anger or sadness away. But this anger and sadness will always be there, we still carry it with us and this affects the way we live our present life. To create a healthy relationship with our inner child, we need to heal our childhood wounds. A loving relationship with our inner child also helps us to be more kind to ourselves and to feel more joy and fun in our present life. 

Chakra balancing 

Chakra balancing can be done through energy medicine. Chakras are energy points in our body. These points can be open or blocked. Each chakra is like a spinning disk of energy. When our energy is out of balance one or more of the chakras are spinning too slow or too fast. Sometimes a chakra will even stop spinning, which means you have a blockage. During a chakra balancing session your coach will assesses the flow of energy and remove blockages, as well as even out the flow from all the chakras. If your chakras are balanced, in most cases, you feel balanced and lighter.


Creative movement 

Many women experience overthinking, worrying and pushing themselves too much. In order to release this behaviour and to step out of this pattern, we believe in the power of moving. Moving ourselves will set us free. This might be a little bit out of your comfort zone, but it’s exactly what we need; to step out of our rational mind and to connect with ourselves on a different level. Meditation is not just sitting still, at Be Kind you will discover different dynamic meditations like dancing and moving that will help you to step out of the rational mind. 

Art therapy

Art therapy involves the use of different creative techniques such as painting, drawing or sculpting. Being creative is a good way to express yourself rather than only using your rational brain (talking and analysing). With the guidance of a therapist, you can find the message found in your own piece of art. It will help you understand yourself more and have a better understanding of your own feelings and emotions. We believe that using our rational mind only is not necessarily the solution to heal yourself, we should combine every part of ourselves.
