The women in the Be Kind team are like minded women who all had the desire to make a shift in their life, the world and the universe.
A shift from fitting in a society which asked us to look and act a certain way to the believe that real freedom comes from the inside, if we love and accept who we are. Freedom from within means: to be wild, to be raw, to be real, to be honest en to show up with our authentic self. It means to always listen and connect with our intuition.
We feel so lucky to have all these amazing women in our team and it is so special to see they all made this shift in their life which has brought them to the island of gods, to Bali. To feel the strong bonding with all these women, we went on weekend trip into the Bali jungle, to connect with our wild women. In order to see the full picture, to see our true selves and to connect with this, we all need to disconnect sometimes; disconnect from our safe haven, our comfort zone, our phones. This weekend we created a safe space to connect with our wild women inside of us, it was like a small retreat for the Be Kind team.
“Be wild, that is how to clear the river. The river does not flow in polluted water, we manage that. The river does not dry up, we block it. If we want to allow it its freedom, we have to allow our ideational lives to be let loose, to stream, letting anything come, initially censoring nothing. That is creative life. It is made up of divine paradox. To create one must be willing to be stone stupid, to sit upon a throne on top of a jackass and spill rubies from one’s mouth. Then the river will flow, then we can stand in the stream of it raining down.”
The moment we arrived deep in the Bali jungle, we felt the energy was shifting: there was peace, it was quiet and calm. Our small houses were surrounded by a beautiful river, the symbol of wild women. Seven women in the middle of nature, surrounded by silence. A safe space to fully take time to feel everything inside of us. To feel things we might have pushed away, to feel things we didn’t even realise were there.
While the sun was setting, we came together for our first circle. Mother nature started to let us know her power; rain was pouring down and there was heavy thunder, which made the circle even more special. We began to open up by telling each other what was really going on, something raw, pure and real. We shared our sadness, madness and happiness. It’s all part of the game.
“To be connected with our wild women also means being more aware of ourselves. This is not always easy, sometimes it’s much easier to push everything away or to not do the work. But by choosing the healing path, we choose the path to feel deeply connected with life, ourselves and others. So we need to do our work and keep reflecting on ourselves. “
During the circle we started to share about the heaviness inside and that it’s sometimes hard to express anger and to share this with others. It’s hard to accept we feel anger inside ourselves and in the end we want to push this anger away. We shared about pushing ourselves too much, comparing ourselves to other women and forgetting how beautiful we are ourselves. We shared about why it’s hard to let go of someone, the sadness that comes up the moment we feel lonely and we shared about being afraid to make wrong decisions in life.
We also shared happiness together; how wonderful it is to live our life, to connect with all these beautiful people, to follow our own path, to share our succes together, to be able to feel love inside ourselves, to be happy with our body, to feel happy about being a women.
We chanted together, we laughed, we cried but most of all we created space to just share, without judgement or blame or even advice, just energy.
The final night we danced under the moonlight and celebrated life.
And not just an ordinary life, but the life of a wild women.
